Operators reportedly agreed phrases to share possession of DNB in June, with Telekom Malaysia and YTL Communications the primary to enroll, and Celcom Axiata and Digi approaching board later.
Malaysia’s authorities had supplied to allocate up to 70 per cent equity in DNB to operators, however Celcom Axiata, Digi, Maxis and U-Cellular reportedly pressed for a mixed majority stake: the federal government rejected this transfer.
